Dr. Safiya MS
Consultant Neuro Psychiatrist
Dr. Safiya MS is a well-respected psychiatrist with a dual degree in psychiatry and psychology and over 13 years of experience. Holding an MBBS from Father Muller Medical College and serving as Medical Director of Mind and Brain Hospital, she offers extensive psychiatric services. She is also a valued member of the Indian Medical Association and Indian Psychiatry Society and has received recognition from the B.C.Roy Young Achiever Award, and is a fellow of the Community Health Program. In her approach to treatment, she prioritizes minimum medication and maximum care, actively participating in de-addiction programs.
Dr.Shree Lakshmi
Consultant Psychiatrist
Dr. Shree Lakshmi Mallya is an accomplished Consultant Psychiatrist at Mind and Brain Hospital. With an MBBS and MD Psychiatry, she brings over 4 years of expertise in psychiatric care, therapy, and psychotropic medications. Her proficiency extends to Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Treatment Planning, and individual and group therapy.
Dr. Mallya’s educational journey includes an MBBS from Mysore Medical College and Research Institute, along with her MD in Psychiatry. She has presented her research on mental health during the Covid-19 pandemic at a prestigious conference. Her compassionate approach, along with her hands-on experience at the Institute of Psychiatry and Human Behaviour, showcases her commitment to exceptional patient care.
Dr. Monica Sharma
Counselling Psychologist
Dr. Monica Sharma is a seasoned Counselling Psychologist at Mind and Brain Hospital in Bangalore. With a PhD in Guidance and Counselling from Mother Teresa Women’s University College, she excels in various evidence-based therapies such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). She provides support to individuals with a range of emotional disturbances, including severe anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and eating/weight issues. Currently trained by Advance HE, UK in Leadership in Higher Education Institutions, Dr. Sharma has a keen interest in Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, and NLP.
